I went off and searched the CES Letter because I've never heard of it and… Yikes, that's a lot of bullshit. It was especially jaw dropping to see a bullet-point overview. It reminds me of Islam, insofar as you can see the mind of an obvious serial liar in the Prophet Mohammad insofar as he's always spinning a self-serving yarn.

At least with Jesus the most obvious alternative is that he was just insane since he went to his death for it, so even if you cannot believe Him any longer, you at least aren't humiliated.

It must be tough to come to the realization that you were played outright. At any rate, you are always welcome to Christianity.

Given that /christian/ is simply uncapable of having a proper discussion on this, I have decided to ask here:

Do you see them as a problem?

Is it a mental illness?

Is it learned behaviour?

If it's sinful, why doesn't Jesus ever talk on the issue?

Is it actually a sin, or is it a sin only because sex outside of marriage is sin, and two men can't get married?

Is it possible for two homosexuals to have real love between them instead of pure lust? If so, is that love valuable?

What is the line that shouldn't be crossed? Hugs? Kisses? Anal sex?

What should be done with them? Execution? Banishment? Rehabilitation?

I want this to be a theory/discussion thread about homosexuals and on how they can be saved. Not interested in the andersonites and their kys advice.

 No.19317

What the fuck is going on in this fagloving thread!?

>Do you see them as a problem?

They wouldn't be a problem if they kept themselves inside their closet. Now they got out, they seek to convince others that they are good people all while bugchasing. Further more, these people can perfectly reproduce, but cannot, because they do not want to, not because of infertility or something else. They seek nothing but fap, and contributes to legit nothing to civilization others than working, then die of AIDS prematurely.

>Is it a mental illness?

I ain't a psych but when i hear a faggot saying AIDS/HIV is a gift, then i would confidently say that it is one dreadful disorder.

>Is it learned behaviour?

See that little "+" on the top bar of your web browser? Click on it. If you haven't set anything, it should create a page with the words "About:Blank" on the address bar. It sounds silly to compare a newborn child with a new web page, but the concept is the same: That just born baby is BLANK. He's not fag/dyke/trans/whatever. And yes, not even straight. These things are learned from society as the child grows up.

>If it's sinful, why doesn't Jesus ever talk on the issue?

Haven't read that passage yet, i'm slowly progressing.

>Is it actually a sin, or is it a sin only because sex outside of marriage is sin, and two men can't get married?

It is a sin of the same caliber than bestiality due to the fact that it increases disease rate, which will eventually lead to death. Sex is for the pair-bonding to ultimately create LIFE. Bugchasing faggots spread DEATH instead, using, and perverting the primary vector for human life, and that deserve gulag-tier treatment.

>Is it possible for two homosexuals to have real love between them instead of pure lust? If so, is that love valuable?

Honestly cannot give my worthless opinion on that due to the fact that i am an outcast virgin which is why i ended up in chans in the first place.

its a real chemical imbalance in the brain, an identification with the mother/ feminine image in the masculine psyche. It's unconscious meaning it's entirely out of the control of the individual to prefer men (unless they're bi). I'd say it's ok given the increase in our population. As for what they should do, steer clear from the collectivized mindsets associated the lgbt community and far left in general and live your own life.

What’s with all the niceties? Homosexuality is a mental illness that centres on degeneracy and hedonism. Their rampant promiscuity created an aids epidemic. Baptists: No repentance, just belief on Christ for one second and you are forever saved.

Early 2nd cent Christians:

2 Clement 16.1– 4

Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have received no small opportunity to repent, while we have time, let us turn to the God who has called us— that is, while we still have one who receives us. 2For if we renounce these pleasures and conquer our soul by refusing to do its evil desires, we will share in the mercy of Jesus. 3But you know that “the day” of judgment is already coming like a “blazing oven,” and “some of the heavens will be melted,” and the whole earth will be like lead being melted in a fire, and then both the hidden and public works of people will become visible. 4Therefore, merciful practice (ἐλεημοσύνη) is good as repentance for sin. Fasting is better than prayer, but merciful practice (ἐλεημοσύνη) is better than both, and “love covers a multitude of sins.” Prayer from a good conscience delivers from death. Blessed is everyone who is found full of these things, for merciful practice (ἐλεημοσύνη) lightens the burden of sin.

Archeologists: Sodom and Gomorrah literally destroyed by fire and brimstone falling from the sky

>A group of archeologists and other scientists say they have discovered strong evidence that the region of the “Middle Ghor,” where the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah are believed to have existed, were in fact destroyed by a meteor that exploded in the sky above, raining down superheated matter and raising temperatures to thousands of degrees, a theory that matches the account of the cities’ destruction contained in the Old Testament Book of Genesis.

>According to the theory, the meteor exploded at low altitude with the force of a ten megaton atomic bomb at an altitude of about one kilometer over the northeast corner of the Dead Sea, and obliterated all of civilization in the 25-kilometer-wide circular plain that constitutes the “Middle Ghor.”

>The researchers presented preliminary findings on the subject at this year’s annual meeting of the American Schools of Oriental Research in November, and have been developing the theory since at least 2015. They state that the evidence from radiocarbon dating indicates that a group of civilizations flourished in the area for over two millennia, until approximately 1700 BC, when the mud-brick walls of the buildings in the region simultaneously disappeared and only the stone foundations remained.

>At the same time, the pottery in the settlements was heated into glass in the space of milliseconds, according to the results of an analysis of the Zircon crystals formed in the process, indicating that they were briefly exposed to temperatures of approximately 4000 to 12000 degrees Celsius, comparable to the temperature of the surface of the sun.

>The explosion rained down platinum as well as molten lava on the region, according to two of the archeologists, and this further confirms that a meteor was the source, given that platinum is found in higher concentrations in meteors than on earth.

>Approximately 40,000 to 60,000 people living in the region were killed, and a 5Post too long. Click here to view the full text.

Sometimes depression has its roots in a legit medical imbalance. For example all it can take is something as simple as a poor diet to sap your energy and diminish your ability to focus. If a person has a melancholy disposition to start with, little things can really push them over the edge in this regard. Anon you may want to consider looking into resources on eating for mood… It can make a really noticeable difference

>How was your walk with Christ this past year?

Shaky, but some improvement overall.

>Did you do anything to grow in faith

Yes, I became a bit more dedicated with prayer, but not by much, and I read most of the Bible throughout the year.

I still need prayers as I'm still dealing with long-fought sins, frustrations through long-held, deep desires, and constant worries and fears. I especially, this year, wish to defeat a gigantic idol that has long troubled my life. If this one idol perishes, then I believe I will be not only a happier Christian man, but a more godly one as well.

>>19104

>I tried reading the Word more. I tried studying theology. I failed miserably on both counts.

"If we are faithless, He remains faithful; for He cannot deny Himself." (2 Tim. 2:13 NAS)

"Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.

For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin.

Let us therefore draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace to help in time of need." (Heb. 4:14-16 NAS)

Don't give up anon, as He hasn't given up on you. Jesus blood never failed us yet.

Excuse me /christ/, I've been running around this argument and I haven't had a nice reply so far. I was wondering if I could take it here.

The gist of it is:

>If the Holy Spirit guides people into understanding the bible, then there must have been a amount of people who truly understood the bible since 100 AD.

>If those people truly understood the bible, we must have beliefs similar to them.

>Conclusion:

>Ideas that didn't exist at around 100 AD, can't possibly be what God intended. To claim otherwise is to claim that the Holy Spirit had not guided the Apostles into true understanding.

I thought some Protestant would debunk it since I got "gotcha" smells form it, but so far I've actually not seen a decent take on it. Anyone?

I heard this theory (being posted as fact) that the Hebrew names for God in the Old Testament (El, Elohim, YHWH) and the names of the false idols worshipped by the Israelites (Baal, Hadad, Astarte) actually represent an ancient semitic pantheon of pagan gods, and that later certain gods were merged into the one God and others were decried as demons. This ties into another theory that the books of Moses were written by multiple people and later compiled together into one book. Are there any good debunkings of this? What does /christian/ think of this?
